The New $100m Pullman Hotel: Liverton Delivers Every Layer of Hotel Technology

The owners of Pullman Hamilton have selected Liverton Group to design and deliver a complete technology ecosystem for the landmark new hotel.

When complete, Accor’s Pullman Hamilton will introduce a new level of premium accommodation to New Zealand's Waikato region.

The $100 million development is transforming Hamilton's tallest building into a 191-room Pullman hotel, complete with restaurants, day spa facilities, premium guest amenities and a rooftop lounge overlooking the city skyline.

For Liverton, the project represents far more than a hotel technology deployment. It showcases our ability to deliver a complete, end-to-end technology ecosystem through a single partner.

A Complete Technology Solution

Hotels traditionally engage multiple vendors to design, install and support the technology required to operate a modern property.

The owners of Pullman Hamilton have taken a different approach for this project, engaging Liverton Group to deliver technology across almost every layer of the hotel, from guest-facing experiences through to the infrastructure and operational systems that keep the property running efficiently.

The scope includes:

  • SmartStay self-service kiosks, including revenue driving features

  • Hotel Wi-Fi and networking

  • Structured data cabling

  • Access control systems

  • CCTV and security

  • IPTV and MATV

  • VoIP telephony

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)

  • Energy Management Systems (EMS)

  • Digital housekeeping and room status management

  • Intercom systems

  • Technology design and consultancy

By consolidating these systems under a single technology partner, the developer and operator benefit from a coordinated design, streamlined delivery, reduced project complexity and a technology platform built to work together from day one.

Creating a Connected Guest Journey

Guests will be able to use SmartStay's self-service kiosks to streamline arrivals, helping them reach their rooms faster while freeing up staff for more meaningful guest interactions. Integrated upsell features and connectivity with Accor loyalty programmes will also help deliver a more personalised stay while creating additional revenue opportunities for the hotel.

Behind the scenes, SmartStay integrates with access control, communications and building systems to create a more connected and efficient experience for both guests and hotel teams.

A New Benchmark for Hotel Development

As well as being an exciting new 5-star addition to the city, Pullman Hamilton showcases how technology is becoming a critical part of modern hotel development.

With guest expectations continuing to evolve and hotel operations becoming increasingly connected, the project demonstrates the value of designing technology as a complete ecosystem rather than a collection of standalone systems.

We look forward to watching Pullman Hamilton take shape and welcome its first guests. Watch this space for future project updates.
